German student Franco Holinski, 26, was arrested on Wednesday by Customs and Excise officers at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport for allegedly smuggling 2.4 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine worth Rp 4 billion (US$456,000) into the country.

This idiot had it coming. It is a very well known fact that in Indonesia the death penalty is imposed on those found guilty of smuggling narcotic drugs into the country. How on earth can anyone who is able to read (he was a Uni student!) be so stupid??!! Hopefully this is a warning to everyone tempted to make a quick buck. DON'T !! Even if you are not on death row, Indonesian prisons are anything but fun.
