Snowfall, sometimes heavy, ruled Saturday from northern Utah’s Wasatch Range to the state’s central high desert ranges and even into the red rock vistas of the southwestern borderlands. Valley locations throughout the state reported 2-4 inches of new snow had fallen overnight, and another 2-3 inches was predicted to pad those totals by Saturday evening.
