King Tut's chariot races to New York
"This is the first time that the chariot will travel outside Egypt," said Dr. Zahi Hawass, secretary general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities. "As we discover more about Tutankhamun's death, we may find that this very chariot is an important piece of the puzzle that we've been working for decades to solve."

King Tut comes to New York, Denver
Despite being dead for 3333 years, King Tut is having a very busy summer, appearing at dueling shows in New York and Denver. The New York show, Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs at the Discovery Times Square Exhibition through Jan. 2, is making the last of six U.S. appearances since 2005 and features 130 artifacts related to Tut and his family, including 50 objects from the Boy King's Tomb. Meanwhile, at the Denver Art Museum, Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs runs through Jan. 9 and covers 2,000 years of Egyptian history. It spotlights 100-plus artifacts from Tut's and other royal tombs, along with objects relating to plain old working stiffs.
