When musical behemoth House of Blues took up residence among the neon frivolity of East Fourth Street – the ready-made entertainment hub of downtown - it instantly rubbed more grassroots venues up the wrong way. Nevertheless the big bands keep coming including Scissor Sisters and The Used.
